Aimed to assist students to more accurately match themselves to ministry/career opportunities by: studying the biblical and theoretical bases of career and life planning; identifying and valuing personal gifts, interests and preferences; analysing the relationship between career and life planning and their places of ministry and work; and developing a sense of balance in the overall shape of lives. Students will be intentionally encouraged to think Christianly about the issues raised throughout this course.

Course Outline This course includes seven sessions on the following subjects :
What is life planning? Where do I fit into God's purposes?

Learning from experience? What can we discern about the future from looking back? The foundations for building a personal profile. Defining your shape.

Temperament, Personality and Motivational Pattern

Spiritual Gifts. You and your Career Anchor

Constructing a Personal Profile. Life Cycle Stages and Career Choices. Balancing Personal, Family, Career and Faith Concerns.

Completing your personal profile. Finding other sources of assistance, experiencing changes and managing transitions.

Staying on Track
